DBA 5000 Series T3 rotors share all the same leading technology as our 4000 Series, but in a two-piece rotor. Featuring an aluminum hat for lighter weight, better heat dissipation and lower maintenance costs make for the perfect race rotor.The DBA 5000 2-Piece T3 Slotted Disc With Black Hat is a 2-piece composite brake rotor. DBA uses high carbon cast iron rings and aerospace-grade aluminum hats (T6061-T6), secured with NAS bolts and crimp nuts. It helps reduce weight and improve heat control. Less unsprung weight equals less heat transfer from the disc to the hub. DBA also offers both new and replacement hats and flat disc rotors (rings). These flat discs are compatible with DBA 5000 Series headgear (rings). DBA recommends the 5000 Series for track days and club racing.
